The tuck box alone is worth it — the gold foil on that hidden compartment detail really pops. Each suit tells a piece of the magician's final message, so you keep finding little clues the more you look. Shuffles smooth right out of the box too.
I bought these mostly for the artwork and ended up spending an hour piecing together the fragments of the magician's last message. The cards themselves shuffle beautifully and have a nice snap to them. Genuinely one of the cooler decks I've picked up this year.
The vintage illustration style on the court cards really sells the whole forgotten magician theme. I've been using them for casual poker nights and everyone keeps stopping to read the scattered message fragments.
