This edition continues the Chinese-style design language of the Zodiac and Auspicious Beasts series, presenting an elegant and richly festive aesthetic.

The tuck features the God of Wealth as the central visual, echoing the traditional custom of welcoming the God of Wealth on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year. Elements such as the “Fu” character, gold ingots, and firecrackers are thoughtfully incorporated, capturing the vibrant spirit of the season within the design.

Presented in a special calendar-style format, it enhances both the celebratory charm and collectible value of the deck.

The four suits are reimagined with festive motifs — firecrackers, fortune pouches, ancient coins, and koi fish respectively represent the four suits, unified in theme and rich in creative detail. Each card corner is adorned with a firework element, reflecting the lively atmosphere of New Year celebrations.

The Joker design continues the main character from the tuck, with the two Jokers distinguished by full color and monochrome treatments, maintaining a cohesive overall style.

The gold foil accents on the tuck case catch the light nicely, and the cards themselves have a smooth finish that shuffles well right out of the box. We played a few hands of poker at Lunar New Year and everyone kept commenting on the artwork.

The God of Wealth on the tuck really pops against the red and gold, and the festive vibe carries through to every card. I bought these as a gift for a collector friend, and the finish feels premium in hand, plus the detail work is sharp up close.

The red and gold palette carries that festive vibe perfectly, and the card backs have a subtle shimmer that catches the light beautifully. The tuck case itself feels sturdy enough to keep on a shelf, and the whole deck feels like a proper collectible.
