The tuck uses a minimalist visual language to tell an ancient, distant story. Lantern light fades into the night, wildfires and phosphorescence dissolve in the wind, and a cold hue lingers over red blossoms—both tender and unforgiving.

A dreamlike encounter of scholar and beauty reflects the complexity of human emotion. Inspired by Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio, it suggests that what truly deserves attention is not the supernatural, but the human heart itself.

The card back depicts an ancient mountain forest, evoking a quiet yet mysterious Eastern folklore world. Spirits, demons, and illusions intertwine, yet traces of genuine emotion remain.

The card faces feature a restrained classical palette, balancing traditional aesthetics with modern design sensibility.

Penelope ★★★★★

The tuck case is the real standout here — the lantern light fading into that cold blue is way moodier than the photos suggested, and the minimalist design keeps it from feeling busy. Cards handle smooth right out of the box too.

Emily G. ★★★★★

The minimalist tuck case with its fading lantern light perfectly captures that eerie swamp mood, and the cards handle smoothly right out of the box.

Riley ★★★★☆

The artwork on the cards themselves carries that cold, eerie glow from the tuck case beautifully, and the red accents pop just enough to keep it from feeling dreary. Only gripe is the cards feel a bit slicker than I'd like for casual shuffling, but they handle well enough.
